GLCC Newsletter September 23 2018

GLCC Members,

September 18th was General Membership Meeting at Little Daddy’s in Bloomfield Hills.  We had a good turnout and several members were able to drive their Cobras.  In this meeting Jeff Grice was confirmed as President, Bob Harvey as Secretary and Bob Russel as Director of Events for the next 2-year term.

October 6 is Dyno-Day at Prefix.  Details about scheduling dyno runs can be found in this Blog.

We are planning a NEW fall color tour for October 7th.  The route is being driven and refined this weekend.  Generally speaking it will be in the area near and including the Car&Driver Test Loop with lunch at Zukey Lake Tavern and Ice Cream and Coffee in South Lyon.  Details will be provided in the next newsletter.

And we are planning our own Cars and Coffee (cider and donuts) on October 13th at Canterbury Village.  It will start at 9:00 am.  The idea is to frame this as a “Snakes in the Grass” all-Shelby related event and invite the local Shelby and Viper Clubs.  We’ll see how this goes as it is a “first” and plan accordingly for 2019.  Details and RSVP can be found in this Blog.

And, Saturday October 27th is the last Cars and Coffee hosted by Prefix and Bill Gill for 2018.  Check out the details here.

We are planning our November Meeting at Pete’s Garage in Monroe.  Date/details will follow.  This hopefully will be an opportunity for a last drive in our Cobras PLUS to hang-out with our Downriver and Ohio Friends!!
