We are taking a new approach for this popular cruise by combining two great routes into a single specular event on June 20th!
This cruise will take you on back roads from Rochester to our lunch destination in Port Huron followed by a scenic cruise along the St Clair River and Lake St Clair.
We will start our cruise at the Starbucks on 6950 Rochester Road in the Pappa Joes Shopping Center.
Parking for our Cobras is noted below. Plan to arrive at 9:00 ish am. Grab a coffee, top off your fuel tanks and mingle.
We will depart at 10:00am for Port Huron.
The first leg of the route will be North on Rochester Road to Dryden and east to Memphis, Smiths Creek and to Marysville.
From Marysville we will follow the river to lunch at Freighters (800 Harker Street Port Huron 48060).
We will plan a stop in Memphis for fuel/restrooms. On Bordman approaching Memphis, turn right on Main to the Marathon Station (80660 Main St Memphis 48041) will be on your left.
Parking for lunch will be in their main lot as shown below.
Following lunch and a peak at the freighters and other yachts on the river, follow the St Clair River through Marysville and stop in St Clair at the Riverview Plaza 201 N Riverside Ave, St Clair 48079.
To add a little variety, we will take a walk along the St Clair Board Walk and before departing enjoy ice cream.
From St Clair, we will continue along the St Clair River to Marine City, onto Algonac and along Lake St Clair through Fair Haven while ending the journey in New Baltimore which is convenient to jump on 23 mile, I94 and M59 or a route of your choosing to head home.
